Walking near roads and travelling in cars are the riskiest activities for these young children.In any car crash, a loose child will be thrown about inside the vehicle, injuring themselves and others. 
Action points:

Walk with your child, always hold hands and set a good example.

In the car, always strap them in properly and drive safely.

Has a specific section for the under 5s, as well as a teacher / parent section. Includes curriculum links and lesson ideas, also interactive resoources and home link sheets. Some resources are free.
