Key facts: Remember when walking with your child, they’re smaller and can’t see everything you can. In any car crash, a loose child will be thrown about inside the vehicle, injuring themselves and others. |
Action points: Walk with your child and set a good example. Talk about what you see, what things are and what to do. Play spot the hazard. In the car, always strap them in properly and drive safely. |
