Cyclist

Cycling is a great way to have fun and stay fit at any age. It’s also a brilliant way to get around our county, whether for work or for leisure. At the Gloucestershire Road Safety Partnership we want to make your cycle journey as safe and enjoyable as possible. We do that by:

  • Delivering Bikeability training (cycling proficiency for the 21st century) to over 4500 young people across Gloucestershire every year.
  • Providing safety advice and guidance on cycling in the county.
  • Campaigning to encourage a long-lasting and positive attitude towards cycling.
  • Promoting cycling as a healthy and efficient form of transport.

Within these pages you will hopefully find all the information you need on cycling safely in Gloucestershire. For further information contact roadsafety@gloucestershire.gov.uk.
