The collision data was analysed by the Road Safety Partnership and assessed to see if any accident trends existed at this location. Studies were also carried out investigating all motorcycle accidents in and around the area of the collision.

The female driver was found guilty of causing death by dangerous driving and sentenced to a 4 year custodial sentence.
Michael’s funeral was held on the 21st of November.
