Help when things go wrong

Training available to you

Sometimes things can go wrong. When that happens we are here to help. If you have been involved in a collision or a near-miss you may need someone to turn to for advice and support.  By changing your behaviour you can turn a negative event into something positive and maybe prevent other drivers going through what you have.

NDORS (National Driver Offender Retraining Scheme)

We all make mistakes and have momentary lapses of attention. Sometimes those mistakes or lapses can happen when we are driving. To ensure the roads remain safe for everyone and to help drivers not repeat their mistakes the Road Safety Partnership offers a variety of driver offender retraining courses.

The police offer these courses to drivers as an option to paying a fixed penalty fine and having penalty points, or attending court.

Drivers who are offered a course may attend anywhere in Great Britain so long as the police force and course provider are part of the national scheme.
