Occupational Road Risk
What is it?
The Management of Occupational Road Risk applies to any employer, manager or supervisor with staff who drive, ride a motorcycle or cycle at work. It is particularly for those with responsibility for fleet management. It also applies to self-employed people.
Some employers believe, incorrectly, that complying with certain road traffic law requirements is enough to ensure the safety of their employees, and others on the road. Health and safety law also applies to on-the-road work activities and the risks should be effectively managed.
Who is it for?
Any employer, manager or supervisor with staff who drive, or ride a motorcycle or bicycle at work.
